Ganesh Kala Mandir to organise a week-long event starting on Ganesh Chaturthi

Shree Ganesh Kala Mandir, one of Deoghar’s oldest cultural music and dance institutions, has decided to celebrate Ganesh Puja grandly this year. Several performances will be held in the institution’s premises situated at the west bank of Shivganga during the occasion, informed the General Secretary, Pannalal Mishra.

He further added that these events have been planned by Shri Krishnanad Jha, the chief trustee of the organisation. The festivity will begin on Ganesh Chaturthi on 10th September and go long till 16th September.

Motilal Dwary and Sarveshwar Dutt Dwary will be performing alongside the students of Takshila Vidyapeeth and Hindi Vidyapeeth on the starting day. On 11th September, Bodhu Dwary’s will showcase his Jhoomar and Ghera act.

The event schedule also includes musical performances by other artists like Chandan Chatterjee and Mohit Mayank on Sunday and Monday. Several other local artists will participate in the occasion on 14th and 15th. All these events will commence at 7:30 on the respective evenings.

The week-long affair will finally come to an end on Thursday with Lord Ganesha’s idol immersion.

To make the event a grand success, Motilal Dwary, Durlabh Mishra, Binod Dutt Dwary, Munni Lal Bhagat, Shyam Narayan Shringari, Himanshu Jha, Kartik Kumar Jha, Vijay Bhagat, Raja Mishra, Diwakar Narone, Rajesh Bhardwaj (Lallo) and other members of Shree Ganesh Kala Mandir are working tirelessly. Furthermore, the committee informed that they are also sending invitations to the old members and their families to join them in the celebration.
