CES 2021 to kick off on 11th January; 6 Indian Companies part of this year’s Online Expo

The world’s largest tech expo will be back for its 2021 edition from January 11-14. Unlike previous years, this year’s CES event is completely digital, and 6 Indians brands will be a part of the Las Vegas based Expo’s very first virtual convention.

Indian electric vehicle pioneer Ather Energy and Tata Elxsi, Tata’s design & tech service wing, among the six Indian brands that will be showcasing their products on the global tech platform. Tech giants like Sony, LG and Samsung are also set to reveal their brand new advancements in the TV and display monitor technology alongside their other high-tech gadgets.

Samsung is also holding a separate event on January 14 for its Galaxy Unpacked event where the company is expected to launch its new flagship smartphones. Chip manufacturers Intel, AMD and Nvidia which are regulars to the expo are also expected to launch new processors. Microsoft is the official technology partner for CES 2021.

Beside all the gadget launches, the expo will also witness a long list of prominent speakers like General Motors’ CEO Mary Barra, Microsoft President Brad Smith, Walmart President Doug McMillon, The New York Times journalist Thomas L. Friedman, Nick Tran from Tik Tok, The United Kingdom’s Minister for the future of Transport and Decarbonisation Rachel Maclean and many more.

Grammy winners Billie Eilish & Dua Lipa will be talking to Emmy winning host Ryan Seacrest during CES 2021. The four day expo will host a series of conference sessions throughout the convention. NASA astronaut Serena Aunon-Chancellor will be speaking on Research and Technology Development in Space, the session will be moderated by Rachel Crane, CNN’s Innovation and Space Reporter. Amazon, Google and Twitter are also doing a combined session on Privacy and Trust, addressed by their respective chief privacy officers and moderated by Rajeev Chand of Wing Venture Capital.
